I have been accepted to the university of Hawaii at Manoa. I filled out my application to be a part of there system and it will be sent tomorrow. This is a huge step for me. I want to go, but i will miss my family, my room, my job, and my boyfriend.
I think I just need to take the risk.
I have lived in Utah my whole life, i need a change.
Now I just have to make the effortt acutally put the envelope in the mail box.
ohhhhhhhhh mannnnnnnnn.

making new friends will be hard.
This is so stressful.
Giulia, this sounds like a great opportunity. If I were you I would do it. I've never been to Hawaii but I'm going next month for a wedding. If you have never lived anywhere else than Utah you really need to go. I moved to Utah and was so happy to be somewhere else than where I grew up. Good luck on making your decision.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cody, I actually meet with financial aid tomorrow to pay for my housing while i'm there (everything is SO expensive in Hawaii) so keep your fingers crossed i get the money so I can go! it would be the opportunity of a life time.
ReplyDeleteanother positive is the weather is ALWAYS nice you will be happy all the time. I have spent several summers on the north shore. You can ride the bus up there and eat the most amazing food! Hukilau Cafe in Laie, Kava Roots across from sharks cove and Ku ana Burgers in Halewia! I hope everything works out for your adventure!
