I had returned my health forms in and my NSE fee. Now i just am on waiting time to register for classes in November, and housing in December.
I did meet with my adviser for Health Promotion and Education last week, and GOOD NEWS!!!!
she approved 3 out of the 4 classes that I want to take in Hawaii. Also since I am a lifeguard my CPR/First aid class will be counted for without me taking it becasue I am currently certified as a lifeguard.
whew, that made my day.
Now im just waiting that the classes will be avaliable at the times i want..
Oh man.
Waiting, waiting, waiting.
This is one hell of a process.
I'm so excited for you!!! I wish I were going back to school at UH. I had a great time there. The weather is nice year round. It does get more rainy in the winter months (when you will be there) - but the sun still shines! It is also a tad bit cooler than in the Summer. Still, shorts & t-shirt weather though. Every once in a while you will need a jacket. But coming from UT where it gets freezing cold - you may not get as cold as everyone else.
ReplyDeleteFYI (you may already know) - in the logo: Ua mau ke ea o ka 'aina i ka pono (the Hawaii state moto) means "may the life of the land be perpetuated in righteousnesses." Malamalama means "Enlightenment and clarity of knowledge." You are going to have so much fun there!!
Yeah coming to school today shocked me, its snowing outside! im a total water baby, I work at a pool in the summer, so im glad to be in a place where I can wear my swim suit around and not be cold. I am so excited :) and no i did not know that about the logos, thats cool.
